Thanks so much, Poorness!  My son made this one for me.  It's one of those harder, samsonite-type suitcases, and he put it on a 2x4 and then mounted on a piece of plywood. That gets it off the ground and gives it a little more oomph, and the plywood is how I attach the foot pedal.

I really like your originals Fred. They are well written, well performed tunes. I gotta make myself some sort of bass drum like that. It adds so much to the song.
