This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?
I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.
A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

Nice, getting an early start is a good thing.
Awesome setup Timothy. The hardest part of a new setup is remembering where everything is. : )
Taff, those guitars remind me of a herd of palominos. Great start! Hope you have a good season with them.
Body is ready for paining. I decided to start working on the neck. I know it's a cheapy so I'm expecting to do some work. But not this. The headstock and first two frets are on a downward bow. The third and forth fret are the zenith for the start of the second downward bow. This one goes to the body end of the neck. The truss rod is not going to fix this. I have two other les paul style necks. Both of better quality. I'll have to add wood to the neck pocket. The cheap neck wood goes right to the end of the fretboard. Where the better necks have a bit less than a 5/16 fretboard overhang. Doable. I'll salvage the fretboard and truss rod out of the cheap neck. Was going to replace the plastic nut. But I'll salvage that as well. One to use in a rush if needed. This guitar and it's setbacks are driving me crazy.
A little progress on this 4 string cookie tin resonator. I am trying out something new for me, a hammered out bottom of a metal coffee can on top of the cookie tin lid. The cookie tin lid also has holes in it. I was worried about the top lid caving in under pressure, so there is a small piece of wood between the 2 lids preventing this. Will be interesting to hear how this turns out. Am wanting to put a piezo in as well, knowing to be careful. the last piezo resonator I did was the wine box guitar and I put the piezo right onto the dogbowl, very bad idea, was way to loud/distorted. Thinking the piezo will go on the wood this time.
It's always best to test fit your piezo before the final mounting for the best results. I mounted a piezo on the bottom of a aluminum skillet that I used in my Strat-O-Rez guitar with great results, but had poor results under the lid of a cookie tin guitar. Just depends on the materials used and your ears as to what will sound the best.
Try it on the sides, bottom, bridge area and the neck area. The springs may be having a negative effect on the piezo. Springs in a box are great, but may be too much vibration for a thin tin guitar.
thanks for the feedback Paul. Very good points. I am re-thinking the piezo idea. I am betting I would get the same or even worse sound when plugged in. When I did the acoustic Ecko square tin with springs in it I really enjoyed the sound same goes for the Elsinore cookie tin and that one did not have springs.
You might be able to use the springs, or maybe not. A rod piezo under the bridge would be less sensitive than the round ones. Play around with it til you find what works best. You can always mount the piezo to the neck.
percolating some ideas on how to replicate a lap steel based on the design of the Teisco model S lap steel I picked up earlier this year. The wood working part won't be too hard but the pick up cover and metal parts will be a bit more challenging. Probably have a friend do the pu cover, nut and bridge on his 3d printer, or I might get ambitious and do the cover out of wood.
I have a couple on the go at the moment. They're still quite a long way off but I think they'll come up nicely.. I've mixed and matched a whole bunch of woods for these, African Rosewood, Indonesian Rosewood, Maple, Jarrah and Macrocarpa.. Unfortunately I think I'm nearing the end of the line with making them.. I really want to take them to a whole new level but just don't have the gear to translate what I have in my head into reality and at the same time I just don't want to keep bashing out the same old stuff that I have in the past.. I'll use up the boxes I have at hand and then make a decision..
Those look great Eric.
