Paint Job - Opinions wanted!
Guys,
Ill upload a photo tomorrow....
But I have a maple neck with rosewood fretboard... 6 string big thick box but no real nice cigar box detail.
I am thinking about keeping the bottom half of the box 100% normal. But removing the top lid and spraying to a higfh gloss Pelham Blue....
This is a resonator guitar and a special box but just not the finest of grains...
or
A black and blue burst?!
Opinions please!!!!

I have a Cedar Box guitar that's stained Ebony with Tru-Oil finish and a CBG painted with Lime Green Glitterblast.

I was thinking of using this method to finish a CG build in progress...
Has anyone tried this? I assume I can nitro finish it?
I am going to try and black and blue burst it instead... figured the grain was pretty nice and wanted to hold some character.

Stewmac.com has Tinted Colors or Nitro in rattle cans if you want to go that route.

That’s cool I’m doing a rip & strip of a old blue solid body and this is what I’m going to do with it after the chopping is done . The Blue Burst looks great .
