This is not so much of a reintroduction as a rebirth so to speak. I joined Cigar Box Nation many, many years ago when I initially developed an interest in more "primitive" instruments, CBGs, mountain…Continue

You know I met a micky rooney back in 75 at the tracks. Welcome to the nation. Sometimes this place is rambling next it's like the quiet sea. Any questions I can help you with let me know, do what I can.
Howdy im don Ive been playing harmonica since I was about 10 thought it would be a good idea to play another real blues instrument.I found CBGN on youtube searching CBG.Im building a CBG now & cant wait to complete. This spring im going to add some of my chainsaw carving skills to the mix. I like no rules!
Hullo one and all.My name is Michael and I live in Hainault,Essex, next to Chigwell, land of fake orange tans,Mercedes on h.p and tastefully tattooed buttocks.I'm an aspiring cbg builder and I'm currently assembling all the goodies necessary for a one string Diddley Bow.My fave guitar player is Stevie Ray Vaughan and if I was fortunate enough to be granted three wishes,it would be to have the guitar playing skills of SRV,the looks of George Clooney and the fingers of Warren Beatty...Happy new year and more power to your plucking fingers....
Hi - I'm Joe, from Woodbridge a small town north of Toronto Canada. Stumbled on CBGs while researching ukelele kits. Googled CBG and here I am. I like to do woodworking and I play guitar for my personal relaxation and enjoyment. I am thrilled to be able to marry the two hobbies. Built my first from a craft box, with a piezo pickup and 18 frets, sounds pretty good, and I'm just starting on my second now, planning a magnetic pickup with tone and volume control, and 4 strings on this one. I also found playing a 3 string and barreing all frets has made it easier for me now to barre on my 6 string as well - a lucky accident.
