There are many things to consider when making a stomp box, but most seem to want to mimic a kick drum at 100Hz..Puck in Stomp is a great example. I've made one "a demo" and will work on one for a better foot placement to box experience.. But my question to you is do most who want a stomp box prefere a kick drum sound out more of a raw boxy wood sound.. I was very impressed with Wichita Sams riser just for sound..The reason I made this one was because of a local guy Wash Board Dave, the busker of the year was having a hard time with his set up in Bars.. Maybe inside a bar VS outside is different...  anyway your thoughts?

  • Just thinkin about that, I want a kick drum sound from my box, I'm gonna try fooling with amp settings and reverb.

    • My prototype is on the road.. no it's not a big deal just a speaker and a few other things but Man the boss and the math don't lie... went through a 200 watt amp and if you wasn't looking at this you would have beat it was a kick drum... BUT again maybe not for everyone... that's what i was looking for is if anyone else liked something different... Thanks

  • BUMP.. Anyone wish there were a few more threads on the front page?
