Bug that is an incredible ride, but the max speed sounds questionable. Holey buckets, man. I think the fastest I have gone is 42 MPH or so - and that was scary! I don't know, maybe so....
Thanks Wes, and Bug. It is old and beat up - more so than the photo shows. Yep, the stem goes 0 to 60 degrees and is set at about 60. Looks a bit dorky, but the comfort level is worth it. If I get out on the hoods or drops, it goes faster, of course.
35 miles an hour, Wes? That would be a blast. Even if it got 30mph with my 202 fat ass pounds.
John it's1 mph slower than a normal one average, but you are unstoppable and never need to look at the ground again...works on sand and snow and I am told as they are cheap mechanical brakes work at -15 deg C... I have only so far braved -2 so far and highly recommend bar ears (amazon) if you do
It my winter steed (training bike !) the pics were from a 40 mile Sunday morning trip I did...
I now need need hips lol... 27 plus tyres are a bit easier and have similar benefit and make you way faster downhill as you can't fall off...(so i'm told)

You do look dashing in that cycling helmet.
This was my fastest downhill but feel it may be a computer error... scarily fast though and a very very long downhill on the ridge way..
I have cycled up enough hills to see the advantages Wez.. nice bike too..
have you seen Hailbikes they're cool too?
I have a friend with one leg who has one, and now he is faster than me.. have you wind turbine to charge it or solar and then it's pretty much free?
