Few people know that WC Fields had a Vaudeville juggling act before he broke into film. One of his bits was cigar box juggling. Search for WC Fields juggler on YouTube to see it. He was also a skilled trick shot pool player.

just cover them with masking tape or hockey tape to give a little bit of grip so the middle one doesn't slip out to the floor.

Ben, you should be selling off you "less that desirable" cigar boxes from the shop to a juggling store - don't think they're worried about intonation.
