There's too much choice - I'm now considering a Seymour Duncan Little 59 in the neck position so I could use the original pickguard, then drop a DiMarzio Twang King in the bridge and it's done.
Those full sized Toneriders do sound mellow, though........hmmmm :-)
This is also why Dolphins are clever than us as they just swim about having fun all day... and we have to do this before we get any fun..... (ie.work!)

Thanks for the Pick Mr Clock... likey likey..
Can someone do a similar vid with a 59 humbucker pup, so we can compare what that sounds r like....?
first work out what sound you like, then work backwards....
supposed
59 is good for classic rock lead...slighly higher output alnico 5's...stronger mangnet your classic humbucker
my therory is the less pull on the strings the more sustain... have a look at a lace gold and how that works...
single coil but has much less pull on the strings and is suplosed to work well... I have one but haven't fitted it yet...
Thanks Bug - that's a cool sound !
