This is a cookie tin guitar that I've been working on for a while. Its a 4-stringer tuned DGBD. It plays great picked like a banjo or strummed like a guitar.

That's one of the great things about some of these songs. They have so many versions and verses floating around that you can pick and choose what you want in there.
Well it's nice to get some credit for "inspiring" somebody. . . lol.
You may have noticed that in my version I cut out the verses about killing Thelma and the rounder she was two time me with, because I was afraid that some silly people might object to the violence in the song. . .lol.
Willard, there really aren't too many songs that incorporate "Maryland" or "Washington DC" very well. Until that time comes I'll just have to sing about Texas.
Hey Kevin, thanks for the encouragement. This song's been in my rotation for years now but Mark Stowe's video of it inspired me to share. I love how you'll find so many different versions of songs on here. As for my headlessness, I just figured that people would probably be more interested in that sweet tin I found than my mug. I will file your complaint with the appropriate department and see what we can do about it in the future.

Only one complaint . . . . why no head shot?
