Time to unleash another video on the Nation lol. I put a new set of Clifford Essex gut strings on my banjolele yesterday, and the sun finally came out, so I decided to try recording outside. This song was originally done by comedian Brian Haner (a very funny guy-you should check him out), but unfortunately, he only did the first verse and the chorus. I felt that it was way too funny of a premise to end there, so I wrote the lyrics for the last two verses so I could have some closure (rather ballsy of me, I know lol). Forgive the rather anemic whistling, but I'm playing a Gold Tone Banjolele (Banjo Uke) with Clifford Essex Gut Strings. Enjoy, and please feel free to comment (I love the feedback!)

  • Loved it, well done mate. Super stuff. Salty Nuts.....I'll never think of them in the same light again. Ha

  • Cool Happy Tune nice playing Man

  • Sounds great Jason, I been using the Aquila nylgut on Uke seem brighter and  bit louder to me but that don't mean better.

  • Mighty fine uke playing, versifying and singing. Oh yeah, I almost forgot the whistling! I haven't tried actual gut strings yet but from I can tell they may be a bit mellower sounding than the Nylguts I usually use.
