Punch Cigar Box Guitar and Boss DS-1

Here's my latest cigar box guitar project. I recorded this riff while setting it up and testing it. It's made from a Punch cigar box and has a humbucker pickup in it. I wired up a volume and tone control and added a spin a split circuit to make the humbucker into a single coil when needed. It's running through a BOSS DS-1 distortion pedal into the clean channel of a Peavey Bandit 65 amplifier. Was a fun project.

  • Thanks Uncle John!  I took it to an open mic last night but forgot to take the slide.  I'll try it again next week I reckon.  See you 'round!

  • Thanks John!  That's my buddy Pootie in the floor.  He tolerates my picking pretty well.  We spend a lot of time jamming.  See you later!
