Hey Pick, I have some questions about how you use Movie Maker for audio editing. PM me when you get a chance would you?
;-D
I like a low bar. Pick, you are a gentleman.
then i am honored to have set the bar so low , as a starting point . lol ;-)
;-)
Its all good, and the thread continues to evolve.
The reason I wanted to wait until some people had something ready before posting was simply in the interest of seeing what happened without too much influence from hearing other peoples contribution. I have reconsidered and decided that part of the idea, among other things was perhaps a little ambitious.
The real goal is to get people participating, having fun and perhaps learning something along the way. I like the collaboration idea, and just want to encourage more people to try it, by whatever means available to them or they are comfortable with. I hope we see results of all kinds.
There will be more too, I plan to start multiple songs, each in a different thread, something like Ted intended when he first started that recording group a long time ago.
I appreciate Picks contribution, and am especially happy he provided details and tips on his method. Thats one of the things I was specifically hoping for.
So have a look folks. If its not for you, thats fine. But please feel free to participate any way you see fit. All I am doing is trying to get something started, and provide any information I can.
Have fun and play nice!
Mark
hey don't worry, it'll hopefully make more people aware and maybe come and join in!
That backing track was a bit too smooooth and perfect sounding for my liking, so abit of flusterism was good for it : -)
john , wes , jim , bemuzic .. thanx for your comments .. but seriously i posted this as a bad example that i thought it was, & it shows the results of flusterism .. not to mention playing an electric guit basicly with no sound, due to the headphone jack being engaged .. etc and all the lil silly things that seem to go wrong at times . using limited recording methods.
and the us satisfactory result ;-)
hummm .. oops right bemuzic ,, gotta admit .. the layout and " instructions" etc were so long and detailed . i didnt read the whole thing an just sortta scanned it .
see .. now i'm even a better bad example . lol
but then again i posted it here .. only added a link there .
hope i didn't ruin any of marks plans , i'll gladly delete this if he'd rather finsh whatever indepth
discussions he feels necessary first .
and see if i can regain interest later ;-) and if everyone else is still there by then .
lol i could use the redemption .
Pretty good stuff.
I read your description first and was expecting it to be a complete shambles from what you said...which it isn't!! It's pretty cool I reckon.
I've done one, but thought we were supposed to wait to upload it till Mark said "go" ??
