I've all but abandoned my fretted guitars. Funny you mentioned the fretless hubcap. Looking forward to getting one in the near future from a fellow builder. I'll be searching for some new sounds in the new year.
I wasn't sure about fretless but now I can see why some love them. Now maybe a hubcap fretless. 40w new Cube for sure this guitar has a humbucker and the nastiest setting the better it sounds.

The Amp, newer Cube? Sounds great!
yum yum .
Well first off, you are not in Iowa. Secondly, Clock said it well. I second that. :) Sounding great.
I need fretted guitars to do some things and will not give them up. But it seems to me that a fretless of 4 or less strings is the classic cbg.
Are you hooked?
That is a low down and mean sounding piece of hardware you've got there...
My first fretless build.
