Which amp should you use ? You need to think about the fact that it's a small venue, and that your amp power should be appropriate for that. Also, a lower volume would mean that people could hear each other talking. Not forgetting the noise nuisance for the neighbours.
Once you've thought about all that, grab that big Fender Twin lookalike, stick a tube overdrive in front of it and crank it all to the max !! :-)
