Clock, I checked out Cracker Blues by Jesse on youtube; great job on a great song. How the heck did he sing the thing with a cigarette hanging from his mouth? Looks almost like two different guys- one stocky and one maybe too lean for his own good. This guy had a lot of soul.
Crap. Thanks for posting and thanks Clock for the obit.
I wish everyone who wishes their life could be over could hear (really hear) the old blues song, Trouble In Mind. The line, "But the sun's gonna shine in my back door, someday."
Sadly, my fellow San Franciscan Jesse Morris took his own life just recently... He was a fixture of BART, the Bay Areas rail system, and his troubled soul shall be missed.

Dang. No home made instruments and I started off wanting to not like it. Too good to dislike. Very good. I like it.
Jesse has a jolly good voice and gets those low notes really well. His voice sounds very mature for a young chap.
