So sorry I'm late to the party in getting here to comment on Richard's top-notch video production of this song...I've been overly obsessed with completing each element of the 2nd song in this Trilogy series - and putting together the music video for it. In addition to crafting this EXCELLENT video, Richard also did an incredible job of accenting my song with his Ovation Guitar accompaniment accents. I just love that clean echo sound it produces - and can't duplicate it here with anything I have on this end in my "Po-Boy" corner living room recording area (Richard's recording area is on the outside balcony area of his home). Richard also did an outstanding job with the vocal harmony accompaniment additions that he's added to my initial recording of this song.
Also, Richard did the slide guitar, flute, and the super-good sounding Bass track to this next upcoming song of mine, which will be posted here on the Nation within the next upcoming week or so (I'm not good at doing video productions - so it takes me longer to do them than it does to create a song from scratch and record it). . .
All in all - this song and music video represents an OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE of what others (besides Richard and I/me) can do when they work together on their own SONG CREATION AND COLLABORATION WORK projects. . . Bear in mind that this example was authored, performed, recorded, arranged, and put into music-video format by two geographically separated people (Richard in Calf. & George in Fla.) sharing a common interest in creating music, and methodically using simple recording equipment, software and processes to achieve superior collaborative outcomes in such homemade music-video productions like this. . . :-)
I'm proud to be a productive team member working with Richard, on music-video joint-collaboration projects like this! I think that such collaboration project work, makes each of us into progressively better song creators and performers over time...
This is a great song written by George, it finds those nerves that make us all human. I like Tom Waits, I haven’t heard that comment, but it’s a good one. Thank you Daniel!
this one brought on some emotional precipitation, as tom waits would say. hit one or two of the nerves i have left. thank you richard for sharing. nice.
Thank you very much Ambrose! I believe this is the first of a trio from George on the subject. It was a joy to add my two cents, although I did a bang up on the video ha! Thanks again for the nice words, always appreciate your thoughts and inspiration!
Top performance, clear sound vocally and nicely blended instruments! A melancholy, meaningful and beautifully written song! Outstanding gentlemen, outstanding!
I’m just a studio musician haha! ! This is an outstanding song written and played, and sung by George. I’m just happy to add a bit and there, I’m in it for the fame! Thank you very much Nancy, love the photo!

Thank you Richard. It's a line from one of his songs. (maybe two).
