Have been watching the Dan Bau Vids and Pics over the last week or two with interest Randy, still in two minds whether to build one or not though, not real sure how hard or easy it would be to play?, have checked it out on Utube of course, and it surely has that haunting Oriental sound to it, which I think is pretty cool !!!, so it probably will be added to the Bucket List of builds to do! :-)
I hear rain perhaps! Very creative and interesting build. Sounds a bit like my ex-wife ha! Uncle gave me a 2X4 lap Diddley, that’d be cool to put an arm on it that bends the sound.
Dave,,,it something like a d-bow but has a flexible arm at the other end. You slightly move the arm to get the sound. You don`t need to move it much to get the diff notes. Yep strange to what i am use to building..lol. I can see this will take lots of practice.
