  • Thank you RTZguitars, James and Jason. Happy Holidays. Enjoy.

  • Great picking Keni!!!!!  :>)

  • very nicely done !!!

  • Ah Keni ,ma man. Ah got a wee heartbroken dog here in Scotland! Wee Morag had her hopes up. Guess that's the only thing goin up now! Lol. She has been driving me mad humming/barking Unchained Melody. Ah well, she'll get over it.
Have a good thanksgiving , Kenny. Not a holiday here in Scotland sorry to say! Lol
  • Thank you Jamie. Yes, the classics really stand the test of time. As for Onyx, unfortunately he is fixed. I rescued him from a local shelter and that was part of the deal. I guess not as bad as being put down. He likes to meet other dogs, but after a few minutes he is indifferent and just wants to move on. I think he likes his fancy free and foot loose lifestyle. Although, you got a cute dog there too. LOL Happy Holidays. Enjoy.

  • Nice one, Keni. Old songs the best, ah always say. Ah LOVE  yer wee dog . Think he would do me a favour and marry one of the MacBlues family dogs. This wee one here, Morag MacBlues, is no oil painting. But if yer wee mutt is OK with marrying Morag, ah'll give you $5, and him a tin of best dogfood (or a Hershey bar; whatever he prefers). Thanks, and will post Morag to you tomorro, Keni.(got a big enevelope, and will put in enuf food and water for journey :)

  • Thanks Professor Keni great old song. Happy Thanksgiving.

  • Thank you my CBN friends. I was extremely fortunate to come across this instrument. I sold my Deering Banjitar because although it had fantastic tone, it was too heavy. Heavier than any of my metal bodied resonators! It was uncomfortable to sit with for any great length of time. This one dates circa the 1970s when John Dopera owed Dobro. There are so many great early America Country and Blues standards. This one's lyrics are quite melancholy despite the upbeat major chord progression. Happy Holidays. Enjoy

  • lovely banjo, and I sure do love this song. You have an elegant playing style. Pretty dog as well. I love old songs of all kinds and you do them with real reverence and talent. Really enjoyed this my friend

  • My momma sang this to me and I sang it to my kids.   Dandy version.
