    Thanks everyone for the kind comments.  I'm having a lot of fun with this.  

     

    I'm really, really pleased with the neck and the overall look now that I've swapped out that copper grommet for a brass drain screen.

     

    Two more builds are in process at the moment.  At first, I thought the action was pretty high, but I've become used to it.  Embedding the piezo in the oak bridge gives a nice sound.  It would be sick with an overdrive or distortion pedal added to the mix.
