I've been waiting 20 years to cover this song! I tried to do it in a way that I thought was true to the song's story. I used my washboard, paddle bass, and ukulele for this classic Creedence Clearwater Revival tune. Thanks for tuning into Midweek Madness these past few months.

I got this album ( also the "easy Rider" soundtrack) for my birthday in 1969. Must have played it a thousand times. Nice job Poorness.
Thanks Vinnie. Appreciate that.
Always inspired by yer energy and enthusiasm as well as yer playing and crooning, thanks for the share.Superb!!!
Hey Elwood. Just cuz I covered this one doesn't mean you shouldn't. There are numerous songs on CBN that have been covered by all of us. I say go for it. I'd love to see your version.
Darn you - I had done that for one for decades - had it on my COVID series list to do - have a series of little late night parts & pieces on 'where to go with it'. Pictures of Jake (brother Jack) with a wash-tub back in the 70's - we rented Limos and went to Fogerty concerts over the years when I traveled the US - some fun stuff. Scratchin' that one for a while as your version just makes it classy while retaining the the classic nature of it :) Elwood
Ha ha. I'd love that. Willie and the Poorness Boys. :-D
