This instrument has a ukulele neck on the bottom and a mandolin neck on the top. Both of the necks have a 17 inch scale length. The top neck is tuned an octave lower than a regular mandolin, so it is an octave mandolin. Both of the bridges are custom made Tune-o-matic style. The two single coil pickups are routed through a 3-way switch and then to master volume and and tone controls.
