I found this 1999 (possibly 2000) DeArmond Ashbory Bass at a thrift store. It was missing strings but everything else seemed to work. I got it for a low price due to the fact that it couldn't be tested. Let's fix it up and get it back to work.

I figured somebody might recognize these old things. I've wanted one for a long time and I'm pretty happy with this one.
I had the 1st gen ashbory but the strings were originally black, back then people still didn't know what a piezo was. This piezo/preamp system is actually made for music, night/day difference from those disc piezos which aren't made for music? I get these in for repairs once in awhile, they didn't change much between the versions over the years except where they were made. Thanx for sharingĀ
