Chickenhead Reso acoustic soundcheck

Acoustic version here of my own personal gitbox. I originally had a six in. tri-cone type cone in this one but friend over-tuned it and the cone collapsed. This thing sat on the shelf for a bit, but then I thought of using a six in. aluminum pot lid from one of my early reso builds. The cover is a chicken feeder and the tail piece is an old flour scooper. I can't take credit for the inlay work, I bought a pre made neck for this one. Watch as he reaches for the volume knob at the end!

  • I love it!  LMAO when he reached for the volume knob!!!!  She be loud and proud!  Nice build, unique and sweet lookin!
  • Thanks Tim, I built that one for myself and I play the heck out of it! I'm going to alter the head though and make it look like an old National style head with white pearloid and some rustic tuning keys.
  • the reso sounds GREAT!
