  • Paul, I did not make the old cutting board shown below.  I did copy it and make some.  The much used old timer shown hangs in my shop and was the model for the ones I made.

  • Got it Paul.   My first ones were slide only and not real good for that!  

    I thought of you today, Papa Hogg.   I saw an old stored away cutting board shaped like a fat hog - that I made some years back.   Much too thick for  cbg, but the shape of it would be interesting.

  • Thank UJ. I just want to make it clear though that this wasn't my first build, but the first time I'd built a CBG that was any good to play. Some of the early ones were fine with a slide but no good for fingering. It's been a very enjoyable journey, long may it continue...
