  • Yeah, thanks, those Aroma De Cuba boxes are pretty sweet. The lid is a little bit thick but they still ring nicely. Thick sides on those. Always wonder if that's better. It should be, because the less the sides and back move, the vibration of the soundboard will be more pure. I'll be able to test that theory on a Tabak box one day - those suckers have THICK sides.

  • Lovely sound. I really like the tone.

  • I should have recorded the entire sustain at the end of these two tracks but it would have added another minute to the clip! Uncy J, I might have to ask her husband about that gassy thing.

  • Ha, at first glance I mis-read this as Gassy Lady.   Wow, should be classy, but glassy will do.  Really pretty git, playing and tone.  Super job.

  • Tor, Tasmanian oak (just the common hardwood sold for construction here) and Indian rosewood.
  • Thanks for all the ups, people. Kiwi, tuned GDgd like almost all mine. The gal who ordered it plays uke so it may end up being changed to DGbe.
  •  Great warmth and a fantastic sustaine, great playing as well! If it isn´t a secret I´d love to know what materia you used to build this "Diamond" !

  • Wow...super nice sound...

  • Now that's Purdy! Nice deep tone, love it.

  • You always manage to build some of the nicest sounding instruments out there. :-)
