Yeah, thanks, those Aroma De Cuba boxes are pretty sweet. The lid is a little bit thick but they still ring nicely. Thick sides on those. Always wonder if that's better. It should be, because the less the sides and back move, the vibration of the soundboard will be more pure. I'll be able to test that theory on a Tabak box one day - those suckers have THICK sides.
I should have recorded the entire sustain at the end of these two tracks but it would have added another minute to the clip! Uncy J, I might have to ask her husband about that gassy thing.
