  • Remarkable. Exquisite. Profound. Outstanding.

  • Enchanting.

  • That's funny...Olds told me that he can't actually play either a db custom or a Red Dog, because it would violate his secret licensing arrangement with Sh...omebody.

Boy, Olds, I wouldn't wanna be you right now, nosirree, bub, nunt-uh...
  • Good stuff!

  • thats funny, Old's told me on track 5/8 he used a red dog!...sounds kinda suspicious to me!

Dude, this has got the spook! As John says, it doesn't matter about the song's literal truth - it rings true, is relatable, and touches the heart and mind at the same time. That's what music is supposed to do. You have the Power, man.

I downloaded the album. I believe in supporting good music. Send me your paypal address via Profile message, and I will send you something tangible for this little slice of Heaven and Hell. You deserve it.  Please allow me to put a couple of these tunes in my singer / songwriter set for our local open mics; you'll be in good company with Townes Van Zandt, Shake Russell, Jerry Jeff Walker, Steve Earle, Leon Russell, Willie Nelson, and Unca John.

  • thanks a whole lot guys....just wanted to share a little corner of my pennsylvania...you know... "folk" music is the music of the common man and his surroundings...in plain words. If you are into old time music and mountain tunes, you know that each region has its own songs and stories...thats mainly what im trying to do. i put down my roots here 20 years ago, and i want to absorb the place, the landscape, the people and the feeling of what it means to live around here.. and share it....its cool that others can appreciate that and relate. we all have our stories and they are all of equal relevance-  told in the right context, they can become universal. each of us has the power to bring those stories to light. i fully believe in  that. peace.
