Jim, yes I think we each have to do what feels right for us. I like that people can have widely different views about politics, religion etc, but can still meet in the middle with music : -)
I think we all respect your opinions as well Shane. I've pretty much avoided politics in my posts but I think there's a place for it if someone feels the need for it - even if I don't always agree. I recently wrote a song about statues being pulled down over here but didn't post because the varied opinions would have diverted focus from the music. In the end the music is what it's all about for me.
Nicely done Be! Political commentary has always been a part of music. Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger are heroes of mine. Sometimes I agree and other times I don't. Either way it was a good job on this great song.
