Keith, I've made a number of these amps and they have all exceeded my expectations so there's no problem there, I was just surprised that the mic acted so much like the piezo. I'm really happy with the sound(especially the bridge piezo) I'm trying to decide which way to go with it, leave it as it is, ditch the mic and go back to the neck piezo, or to make a magnetic pup to replace the neck piezo.
Could part of it be, that there aren't enough holes in front of the speaker, for it to really let the sound out. Did like the sound the git was making.
Thanks UJ. Keep in mind I'm sure there are better suited mics for the job if a guy was serious about going that route, but I thought it was worth a try.
