AGP #424 - “Balikpapan Chugger”(2 String Anzac Biscuit Tin Guitar)Scale : 609mm / 24 inchesStrings : .030NW /.020NW /Tuning: D GThis updated Sound Sample Medley of the now modified (“Piece of Shite”) AGP #424 “Balikpapan Chugger” uses the exact same Amps and Settings, as the original April 10th Sound Sample. The modification essentially turned the original “Tin Build” into a “Box In a Tin” type of build, which I’ve built before, the Box in this one is made of free recycled 12mm thick Western Red Cedar, and the sound now, to my poor old deaf ears is a marked improvement on the original Build. :-)

"Thanks Rick", neglected to turn the hat around on this quick sound sample, but I can assure you the neighbours are still aware that I'm alive and kickin', will post a Vid of You Gotta Move, I recorded back in Feb, when I done a ZZ Top-ish Riff Type Video, and left the Camera rolling, and pumped out another 3 Tunes, which I called the "Hats On Backwards Barefoot Session", stay tuned! ;-D
"Thanks Southern Ray", Yes!, the box is a nice snug fit, considering that the sides, ends, bottom and top are not glued together, which makes it very easy to disassemble if needed. :-)
"Thanks A.D., Yep!, the sustain was what was missing from the original build, and I would consider it now to have a 50/50 combination of Tin and Woodbox sound !! :-)
Officially modified Chugger sounds improved and makes the neighborhood watch warning list. If the hat don’t turn though, your not using the knobs to their full potential Alan. Sounds real good, graceful and amazing.

"Thanks Poorness", quite happy with the way the Chugger "finally" turned out, which was really only built to use up 2 odd machine heads ;-D
Yep 'UJ', sometimes 2 strings is all you need, much like a Diddley Bow on Steroids, the Pic is what lies beyond the second door :-D
