Breaking in this 6 string CBG I just completed using a My Fathers Cigars (Jaime Garcia) box and an oak hand-carved neck. 23 1/2 inch scale length. Has a piezo pickup but I am not plugged in. Playing "Visions of Johanna" by Bob Dylan.

  • Thank you Nancy! You are very sweet for the kind comments and great kitty pic!

  • Thank you AGP! I really admire your builds.

  • Thank you Shane! I don't know about silky but maybe sulky?! :)

  • Thanks Unc, you made my day! I love the mid-range sound of those old parlor / catalog guitars too. I have 2 of the Chris Adjusto's and the one beat up one gets the most play over my "better" store-bought gits. I have been on a Dylan kick so had to get out the harp case. LOL

  • Thank you Jim!

  • Thank you Andries! Much appreciated. I was practicing this song and felt like playing the harmonica so figured may as well use this as a sound demo for the cbg. Happy New Year!

  • Thank you Milt. The larger size boxes are harder to find and feels great when one comes along.

  • Thank you Wes.

  • Yep!, I'm with Wes Carl on this one "Looks and Sounds Good"  :-D
