  • Hi Greg, I guess it's just what I've grown used to saying. But yes the tuning can also be referred to as Open Bb.

  • Just curious on nomenclature...  Why do you call your tuning Open A#, rather than Open Bb?

    B flat major notes would be Bb C D Eb F G A  (only two accidentals)

    A sharp major notes would be A# B# (same as C?) C## (same as D?) ... this is giving me a headache.

    Your chord voicings are very helpful, but I'm stuck on the sharps and flats.

  • I like that tuning and string relationship a lot.  I use GDGB and sometimes a step higher.  That thumb wrap on the big string makes a nice sound.   A very good sounding guitar.
