  I think that was me Greg that told you that, it worked on three builds I have done with record players. None of them were Crosely's but for the most part they're all the same.  Basically with any hack you need to figure out the source of the sound and interupt it with your new source. I will say that about the time I think I have it all figured out I will get a hack that will throw me a curve, then it's back to square one. :-(

  So 1 gentleman had said to snip the leads to the records needle that's all I have to do to hack a crosley portable record player?

  especially the 5 watt with 3 settings, makes for a wide variety of sounds.

  Cool stuff, I have used both the 2 watt and 5 watt GF circuits...not Velleman. I like GF ones very much/
