This is the greek / eastern folksong played as a "Dick-Dalean" surfrock version (see the picture "Pulp Fiction"). I played a semiacoustic baritone violin (strung with octave strings - an octave lower than a trad. instrument"). Bass (Andy) and drums (Ray) of band "Velvetone".

Is that instrument standard violin scale? Do I look for "octave violin" strings? I like to play on the lower strings anyway!

Very nice! I love the octave drop, and its great to hear the mix of the maybe-original lead instrument with the surf backing.
