Thanks, Wes.  The on-board amp is so cool.  The sound is awesome and easily controlled, and there is absolutely no feedback or distortion.  This wasn't my idea, but my friend Ty from GuitarFuel suggested I try it, and it will not be the last for me.  Hope to see you in August.

I am not aware of any issues with using the post office to send guitars to military personnel. I know one of our UK members had a problem with the UK postal service though.
