Vinylhead made a vid and it seems to me it was a Merle song too. The gist of what I tried to learn from him was that to make some songs really work, we have to be actors too. The song may not be close to who we really are, but while doing the song we need to be that person, to act it and feel it. Kind of have to get out yeah yeahs out and have some guts. You did did that.
