Home made tenor tele

So I am getting a lot of youtube recommendations of Fenders new tenor guitars. And once I saw the price of them ,,,,,, Well I had to make one instead of going and getting one.

  • Thanks Ray, O99

The book marked redwood was a 2x6 I bought a couple of years ago for a wood stove install. I noticed the curly and saved it with no real purpose for saving it. Most of the curly was sanded off but I was able to save a little bit of it behind the hard tail, not much but noticeable if you cross your eyes and squinch your eyes. LOL.

    Low e a d g from a 10 gauge set open g tuning.

  • Sweet! Very nice work there, Myron.

  •  WHOA.

  • Thanks Taffy, David,

I really enjoyed making this one.

  • Nice work!

  • Hi, that guitar looks well crafted, I base my solid bodies on the Tele shape. I like the bookmatched top too.
