just finished watching Miller custom cbg make a fret beveling file. Can do but my table saw will not tilt to a 35 degree angle. What is the trick? Just make a 45 degree angle?
i just have the fretboard about 3/4 inches above the height of my workmate then run a large flat file (no handle) along the length of the fretboard at a 45 degree angle, easy! (-:
Thanks to Damon. Got it figured out and set my table saw at 35 degrees. 35 does comes before 45, sometimes I think I'm brain dead. Thanks to those who did'nt give me a nasty note. Turned out great. 35 on one side and 90 degree on the other side for finish work. :)

cut it backwards on a 60 degree if you can or set the saw on 45 and use a 10 degree blank under your peace to give you the angle you need

I say go for it. Do it the way you can.
It cannot end up looking much worse than my hand filed frets.
