brick and mortar

From now until the end of December, I'm doing the brick and mortar thing.  There's a refurbished mall in Marion, Indiana's downtown that the housing authority is really pushing to revitalize.  Got a good deal on a Nov-Dec only lease.  The most happening restaurant in the county is in the basement and I'm right in the middle of the line of sight when customers enter the building through the front door.  I'm still filling the place up, but I've got a basic plan for the space.  Here's to hoping to convert some 6 string players. . .

  • Thanks to everybody for the kind words.  Sold a couple of brownie pan guitars on the first day.  I really appreciate the opportunity to give this a shot.  The first big sales event at Boston Hill Center is tomorrow.  I'm looking forward to see the crowd.

  • Nice set up.  Best wishes.

  • Good luck with the venture

  • Hi Rick, that's a great idea I wish you luck with that, good time to do it coming up to Christmas.

i have often thought that our small could do something like that using some of the many empty shops in the main street to display the wares of the many different craft groups in this town, instead of looking empty to tourists and visitors. I think I'll put the idea to the local town council.

    Taff

  • I wish you lots of luck!! Hopefully it develops into something permanent? Got my fingers crossed :)
