  • Also, I would like to point out that it often costs us more to ship these international orders than we charge for shipping. For instance, a recent shipment to Thailand of a CBG kit (with a neck, the length of which forced the package to go as Express), we charged $68.00 in shipping. The actual postage charged to us by the USPS was $70.14, which doesn't include the insurance cost.

  • Hello Rich, I understand what a shock to the system a shipping charge that high can be. Unfortunately, international shipping has just gone up and up... especially to eastern Asia, where delivery services are less reliable. The rate we charge has to cover insurance because so many packages get "lost".

My recommendation to you is to register with an international package forwarding service, which aggregates shipments and handles all of the international delivery from a US-based address. That way you can get free shipping from us (which covers us sending it to the forwarder's warehouse in the US) and then you deal with them for the rest of it.

  •  It's $50 ground from California to Texas for a cbg in a 36x12x7 10 lbs worth.USPS.

  • Well , you are in Thailand correct ?  ,  and depending on  the length / size / weight  of your items  this may not seem so crazy . Once you factor in tax and brokerage fees  (beyong Gitty's control)  ontop  etc .  you are still  making off better than ordering on ebay and paying   the "global shipping program's "   crazy markup.

It sucks that shipping companies here  cant seem to  make it as easy and cheap as it is to ship from there .  the same with the UK  . I blame the shipping companies . not Gitty , or usa / canadain suppliers.

Maybe someday it will be easier . lets hope  ;-)

  • Well, you do live outside the U.S.?
