This is a wooden box i built from a kit provided by C. B. Gitty. I use the box as a percussion instrument--along the lines of the Peruvian "cajon." Possibly, another box like this could have a hole on one side so the whole thing is a resonator as well as an instrument in its own right. Then again, such a box could be attached to a neck and we would have ourselves a cigar box guitar.
