I used to take a telecaster which didnt always fit in the overhead compartment. Sometimes the staff put it in some cabinet. But your cbg is probably smaller than a tele so will fit nicely. Never had problems with security.
Did you experience any problems transporting on an aircraft? I am hoping to take a three string cbg (acoustic) to Ireland in May and was wondering if I would get problems. Security,fitting in the overhead etc.
