Thank you. The piezo is insulated from the cone by layers of thin foam padding (like the kind used under laminate flooring) and hot glue. The other similar resonator I did used a rod piezo mounted into the biscuit.
Nice. I like your construction detail photos. I was wondering about attaching the piezo in the center of the resonator like you did on my cat bowl uke. Seems logical.
