  Thanks John:
  I used the last 17 frets of my Stewart MacDonald Fender fret cutting template which came out just over 17" or maybe 43.4 cm. I used Beech for the neck which is somewhere between a Maple and a Birch, but much less expensive. The fretboard is Bloodwood and the finished bridge (not yet shown) is Bubinga with a bone saddle.

  Very nice. What is the scale length for a tenor; centimeters preferred? What are the woods for neck and fret board? jh
