Star Amp

This is my new amp. This thing really has been kicking my back side ever since I started the build.
Inside is an NE5532 microphone pre-amp and a TDA7297 stereo digital amp. Everything is powered by 6 x AA batteries.
I just wish I had put a speaker out jack on it...

Comment by François on July 28, 2019 at 6:11am: It actually sounds really clean when compared to the LM386 opamp.

I first tried using it without a pre-amp but the levels were definitely too low.

Now with the pre-amp, I run into the problem of having a speaker that's too weak.

But they would be fantastic for making a stereo head amp for use with a cabinet.
