the wiring was all done with a high quality rubberised wire. all of them were black apart from the white coil wire.the jack plug socket is completely enclosed. i wanted this feature to stop the end of the jack plug from catching on clothes.the volume control simply had the exact adjuster knob i was looking for, and i couldn't find a modern version that looked anywhere near the same.also on view here is the three string holes for threading the strings through.
