this is the frankenstein weld to patch it back together. it also shows the nylocks holding the coil plate and springs. under one is a strip of leather to hold the coil wire out of the way.i did consider epoxy resin to hold it in place but i wanted the whole thing to be customise friendly. everything was designed so that it can be changed or adjusted to suit the users preferences.
