This piece is not attached to cigar box, yet. It is just lain in place and the edges have not been cleaned up at the hole just yet. It was a sound hole from an old speaker box that I purchased at a thrift store. I started to use a second one on a stomp box I am making and then decided to use this one on my CBG in progress. So many folk use the shiny brass pieces that I just thought this may be something different. The inner edge of the circle will be stained a gray color to match up with the plastic sound hole piece. Just something a bit different, but it makes this CBG unique. The inside part has speaker cloth on it to keep dust out.I'll be adding electronics and the volume knob, bridge nut and tail piece to this project in the near future.
