I took some cigar boxes I had lying around the workshop that were awkward shapes and sizes for guitars and amps and turned them into Shut the Box games for Xmas. I first saw Shut the Box while on deployment in the Navy. It's an old bar game that was popular with sailors and fisherman. It's a very simple project and a great way to use some of those boxes you have lying around and 1x2 scraps if you make stick guitars. Rules are readily found online if you're interested in how it's played.
