Ros's short list pics 096

First attempt at making a CBG.Box made from a drawer and plywood door, Neck teak from the SS Tenesee shipwrecked near here in 1940.Tuners chinese gold plated, Head plate old brass from a fire shovel hammered flat and polished, Bronze tail piece made from an old boat fitting. Bridge 303 ammo box strap and brass rod filed flat one side. The 35 mm piezo pick up is glued to the undersie of the brass plate and a hole cut in the top ply to accomodate it.,Sound holes are wardrobe rail brackets back to front. Top nut brass rod again. Brass wood screw fret markers top and edge of neck. With all this metal on it I had to earth it all individually back to the jack socket to stop background buzzing. Looks like a spider web inside !My map logo needs a bit more work yet, Deersound is where I live Tuned to GDG Strings16 plain 25 & 44 wound .It sounds good , I just need more practice!
