It has decent sound but because the fretboard isn't flat it deadens out on the higher frets (middle of the neck). It's not really playable, but then I'm not a player so I don't know. I'm slowly learning this stuff...
Gave adding frets a shot and I learned that it's probably a good idea to have a flat fretboard! Oh, well. It is my first one. I've got a paying customer for #2, what'll likely be a wall hanger Christmas present, but hey, it's money and it's good clean fun.
